Privacy Policy

In accordance with Articles 12 and following of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR), we provide the following information about the processing of personal data in connection with the use of klimacamp-altoadige.bz.

Data controller

The data controller is Climate Action South Tyrol EO, Capronistrasse 9, 39100 Bolzano.

Navigation data

The systems and protocols used to operate this website process technical data such as IP address, requested URL, request time, response status, and other information required to deliver the website.

This data is used to ensure the security and proper functioning of the website, obtain aggregated statistics about website use, and investigate abusive or unlawful access.

The legal basis for this processing is the legitimate interest in the secure and stable operation of the website.

Cookies

This website uses cookies. Details are provided in the Cookie Policy.

On public pages, only a technically necessary language cookie is currently used to remember the selected language.

The separate newsletter page at newsletter.klimacamp-altoadige.bz may independently use its own technically necessary cookies.

Data voluntarily provided by users

Anyone who contacts us by email or other means voluntarily provides personal data, especially contact details and the content of the request.

This data is processed solely to answer the request and manage the related communication.

It is stored only for as long as needed to handle the request, subject to any legal retention obligations.

Registration and attendance data

If users indicate their attendance at the camp through the registration form, the submitted data is processed to make camp organization possible.

This includes name, email address, number of people, selected days, and optional notes about food, accessibility, and comments. It also includes whether consent to data processing was given and whether interest in receiving camp updates by email was indicated.

This data is stored in the project's internal website and database infrastructure and used only for camp organization, related communication, and the administration of attendance information.

Newsletter

Public newsletter subscription is handled through a separate, project-operated form at newsletter.klimacamp-altoadige.bz. Data entered there, in particular the email address, optional name, and selected language lists, is processed within the project's own infrastructure through the self-hosted Listmonk newsletter service.

The website klimacamp-altoadige.bz does not store these newsletter subscription details in its own website database. The preference stored in the camp registration form about receiving camp updates is not the same as a separate newsletter subscription through the dedicated newsletter form.

Donations

Donations are handled through external platforms such as Open Collective.

As soon as a user moves to an external platform, that platform's own privacy policy and processing terms apply.

Processing methods and disclosure to third parties

Data is processed using manual and electronic tools, only by authorized persons, and with appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect confidentiality and security.

Data may be shared with service providers or processors where necessary for hosting, technical maintenance, legal obligations, or camp organization. The self-hosted newsletter service is part of the project's own infrastructure.

Personal data is not publicly disclosed.

Transfer of data abroad

No transfer of personal data to countries outside the European Union is intended.

If this becomes exceptionally necessary for technical reasons, it will only take place on the basis of the safeguards required by law.
